The Wincle Trout is usually part of the annual Wincle Fete (usually held 2nd Saturday in June). There is a 5-6.5 mile hill run around the Dane Valley and Gradbach including  infamous ‘river crossings’ – the route varies each year depending upon which local farm is hosting the fete.

Runners receive a bottle of beer for their endeavours (as well as a lot of tea and cake)!
