Macclesfield Harriers & A.C. has a committee that meet regularly to effectively ‘manage’ the club.
As the club is so diverse a number of different ‘Club Officers’ and ‘Committee Members’ are needed to lead the various sections of the club (T&F, Road, XC, Fell, Trail) and to manage ‘the basics’ (finance, safeguarding, secretary, publicity, statistics, training, website etc). These are all volunteer roles but are an essential part of keeping the club operating correctly – without them the club cannot operate.
