Congratulations to the three young Macclesfield Harriers who represented Cheshire at the Northern Inter Counties T&F championships in York on 2nd June. Hayden Blunn (U17), Will Roberts (U17) and Jake Rowley (U15) enjoyed the experience very much and put in some great performances. Will placed 6th in U17M javelin, Jake was 2nd in U15B 800m and had a good Long jump of 4.88m, while Hayden, our talented multi-eventer, won the U17M 100mH , placed 2nd in high jump (with a PB and English schools qualification jump of 1.88m), took 2nd in shot and was a member of the 2nd placed medley relay team. Well done to all three, and very best of luck for the rest of the T&F season – we look forward to following your and our other young athletes progress to further honours.
