Got any old sports gear, in any condition, that you no longer use?
In an attempt to lessen the clubs’ impact on the environment we will be having a ‘GEAR EXCHANGE’ at the forthcoming club AGM on Friday 24th March.
Please have a rummage in the next 2 weeks for any CLOTHES/SHOES/FLEECES/COATS
We will collect anything- in any clean condition- that you don’t want and will have a table of ‘good stuff’ at the AGM with the aims of helping out other members with a bit of kit.
Anything that is left and is suitable will be taken to charity shops, and things past their best will be used for textile recycling. We really want to keep things out of landfill.
There will be a collection tub in the club house from this Tuesday. I will come to the Leisure Centre car park on Thursday to pick up but if possible could road/fell/trail groups collect amongst yourselves and then contact Den Masset to arrange pick up from one local member.
Please help us to keep it in circulation, and out of landfill
