There were perfect running conditions for runners to try to predict their times on an out and back 7.5K route from the track on Monday evening. No watches, no GPS, just your running instincts to try to see if you could pace it right to match the time you predicted. Well as you can guess some people got pretty close but others did not! In the end it was Ian Humphreys who was only 3 seconds off his predicted time and bagged the top prize of a bottle of fizz and a Run North West voucher. Clare Power unfortunately was the worst at predicting her time being almost 9 minutes quicker than she predicted. Overall a fun evening with many wanting to come back next year to try to get that pacing right. Full results and photos can be seen below.
Just a reminder that the next races in the club Road Running Championships are as follows: Sandbach 10k (Cheshire GP, August 11th, unfortunately sold out now), Macclesfield parkrun (August 17th) and Crewe parkrun (Cheshire GP, September 14th).
