Success for the U15 boys cross country team at the Northerns
The Northern Athletics Cross Country Championships were held on the 25th January at the conveniently local venue of Tatton Park.
Conditions were pretty much spot on, the sun was shining, there was a slight chill in the air and the ground was firm(ish). More importantly storm Éowyn had blown by and left just a gentle breeze. The U15 boys all ran an excellent race, setting them in good stead for the Nationals coming up in February.
Congratulations to George O’Donnell coming in 26th, Thomas Wood 9th and Jake Ireland receiving bronze medal for 3rd (just 2 seconds behind the winner Yaried Alem).
