A great day of running was had by the three teams who travelled to Mansfield for the English Cross Country Relays on 5th November. The U13, U15 and U17 boys teams were all keen to build on their recent successes at the Northerns by competing in the Nationals and certainly came away with both impressive individual and team performances.
The team of U17 Boys (Tom Marsh, Finlay Pettie and Aadi Whitlock) showed great teamwork and finished 57th overall. The U15 Boys (Jared Dickinson, Matthew Walker and Michael Wood) were able to secure 30th position overall and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The U13s ran an incredible race, each impressively speeding through their individual leg, to finish 6th team overall. Congratulations to Thomas Wood, Bobby Tomlinson and Jake Ireland for this result.
Lastly, as team managers and parents, we have all agreed that it has been a pleasure taking all three teams to these events, they have all shown great teamwork and support of each other and have represented the club brilliantly.
