The rescheduled Road Handicap was greeted with prefect British running weather allowing runners to try to predict their time for the undulating 7.4K route starting and finishing from the track. Not having a watch meant that runners needed to be in tune with their inner running mojo to feel their way around the route to match their predicted time. In the end their was only 1 second between the first and second place runners closest to their predicted times. Graeme Eddie was only 11 seconds off his predicted time just ahead of Julian Brown who was 12 seconds off his predicted time. Commiserations to Trevor Longman who clearly runs much faster than he thinks completing the route 10 minutes faster that he predicted! Thanks to all the marshals who encouraged the runners to either run faster or slower to meet their predicted time. Many photos were taken and will be uploaded here and to Facebook in due course. Full results below. Great running/predicting everyone!!
