Seven Macclesfield Harriers took on the gruelling hills of the Meerbrook 15k on Sunday. This challenging course starts near the Tittesworth Reservoir and heads up towards Gun Hill before a quick downhill finish.
Our fastest lady was Caroline Gisby who finished in a time of 83:16, just 8 seconds ahead of Jo Miles in 83:24. Jo won first place in her age category!
Our fastest male competitor was Rob Whitby who finished in 57:11, just 43 seconds ahead of Mark Walker in 57:54, who also finished second in his age category. They were followed by Jordan Cooper who completed the race in 61:29.

The standings for the 2025 Road Running Championship will be updated after every race and can be accessed at the link below. The 100 points which Caroline Gisby earned today have seen her jump up the ladies’ leaderboard. Today’s race has also led to a big change at the top of the men’s standings. Jordan Cooper is now in first place followed by Rob Whitby while Graeme Eddie and Mark Walker are in joint third place.
