What a fantastic turnout we had at the final match of the 2025 Cheshire Track & Field Grand Prix (CTFGP) series at Macclesfield last weekend !
51 athletes from Macclesfield Harriers entered a total of 89 separate age group / gender events and, as expected at the end of the season, there were some fabulous personal best (PB) performances.
Special commendation goes to the following athletes who won Grand Prix Awards, based on their combined performances across all four matches in the series:
- U11 Girls Quadrathlon (Combined Events Score): 2nd Molly Hogan
- U11 Girls (Individual Event Score): 3rd Molly Hogan
- U11 Boys (Individual Event Score): 3rd Liam Labrosse
- U13 Boys: 1st Ben Hunsley, 2nd Archie Guest, 3rd George Allen
- U15 Boys: 1st Samuel Savage, 3rd Jack Moss
- U17 Ladies: 3rd Florence Beard
- U17 Men: 1st Jared Dickinson, 2nd Chris Melvin
- U20 / Senior Ladies: 1st Lisa Hunsley
The PBs for Match 4 and final scores and award winners for the Grand Prix series are attached below. (NB: I have omitted the results for other clubs, other than the award winners).
