The 2025 Macclesfield Harriers Club Championship Road Running Fixture list has now been finalised. Please see below for the full list of races. This list, full rules, and a condensed version of the scoring system will also be uploaded to the Road section of the club website within the next few days. In the meantime, an explanation of the updated scoring system can be accessed here.
With 26 races on offer, there’s plenty to get stuck into next year! There is also a huge variety of races ranging from 5k parkruns through to half marathons.
Marathons will also be included next year on a self-reported basis. Those of you who would like marathons to count towards your score in the 2025 Road Running Club Championship can submit up to 3 results.
Once again we will be competing in the Cheshire Grand Prix. We will be hoping to build on last year’s impressive performances, when the men’s team finished 2nd and the women’s team finished 4th. To encourage participation in Cheshire Grand Prix races, there will be 5 bonus points available for each Cheshire Grand Prix race you enter.
Once again, the highlight of the season will be the Macclesfield Running Festival – a 5k, 10k, and half marathon which all start and finish on the track outside our clubhouse. 5 bonus points will be available for all three of the races which compromise the Macclesfield Running Festival.
