Sixteen Macclesfield Harriers turned out for the final race of the year, the Stockport ‘10’. The race takes place on a varied route, starting and finishing at the Woodbank Park Athletics Park, going through Woodbank Park and various roads around Stockport. Mild weather over the weekend meant that there were great racing conditions. Congratulations to all who took part!
Jordan Cooper crossed the finish line comfortably under the hour in 00:58:56 while Faye Sharpley was our first lady over the line in a time of 01:08:43. Faye was closely followed by Kristy Readman, who also managed to go sub-70, in a time of 01:09:49.
Our third fastest lady was Katrina Barnes in 01:17:44 while our second and third fastest men were Ray O’Keefe and Julian Brown in times of 01:11:19 and 01:12:45, respectively.
As well as being the fastest female Harrier, Faye Sharpley was 3rd overall FV40. Jo Miles was 2nd overall FV60. A fantastic achievement by both!
