Many congratulations to Hayden Blunn (U17), Josh Podmore (U20), David Smith (Sen) and Hilary West (V60) on their fine performances at the final Indoor meet of the season at Manchester on Saturday. In his first ever Pole vault competition, Hayden cleared a fine 2m 60cm, and continuing his good season form, our young multi-eventer secured a PB of 6m 20cm in the Long Jump. In his first season, David Smith again inspired us all, recording personal best performances in the 60m (7.70sec) and 200m (24.03secs). In his first indoor event, Josh Podmore had a fine run in the 200m (24.81secs) and our masters champion, Hilary, recorded a season’s best of 34.64 in the 200m. Well done to all our athletes who have competed indoors this winter.
