“Just to let you know that Pauline, my wife, best friend, fellow athlete, coach and official, finished her long run to the line ahead of us at 2.35am Wednesday 20th December.
We had enjoyed a very eventful 56 years together with loads of roller-coaster events; the last 40 with the club and living here in Prestbury.
Like with most things in our time together; Pauline did it and I followed. This was particularly true of running, coaching, group leading or officiating.
It is only with the progression of her dementia that we have become restricted in what we were able to do together”

Pauline made such a significant impact to our club and her happy smile will be missed by Macclesfield Harriers past and present and all who knew her. Our thoughts are with Bob and his family at this sad time.
