21 Harriers took part in this hugely popular race on Tuesday evening. Starting and ending in Mobberley, the race is a mix of road and trail and goes both around and under the runway at Manchester airport. It was pretty dry underfoot and much cooler than last year, leading to great running conditions. Congratulations to all who turned up for some fantastic racing.
Our three fastest ladies were Caroline Gisby (41:30), Michelle Birdsall (40:33), and Emma Galleymore (39:47), who has now cemented herself in the top 3 of the Road Club Championship. Graeme Eddie continued his fine form to finish in 32:47 as our 3rd man, just 7 seconds behind Robert Hasler (32:40) while Matt Lynas was our fastest man crossing the line in 30.51.
There were also some great age-category results. Matt Lynas was the 3rd male V55, Michelle Birdsall was the 2nd female V45, and Harry Newton was the 1st male V85!
