Following the success of last year’s event the Mixed Ability Relay is returning to the track on Tuesday, September 16th.
The event is open to all members of Macclesfield Harriers & A.C. who are aged 13 or over. All participants will be placed in teams of five, with all teams being of roughly equal ability, and each team will attempt to run as many 400m laps of the track as they can in an hour. Each team member runs one lap at their own pace, rests for four laps while the rest of the team run their laps and then the cycle repeats.
This will take place at the Macclesfield Harriers & A.C. athletics track, behind the leisure centre. Registration is open from 6pm and the event will start at 7pm, lasting for exactly one hour.
This promises to be a fun event, so come on down to the track!
