ROAD
Harry Newton has claimed the 5K and 10 Mile records in the V85 category this month. Harry continues to shatter records, and is now the proud holder of 21 club records on the Road for Macclesfield Harriers! Truly remarkable.
INDOOR (FIELD)
Hayden Blunn achieved an excellent 2nd place and the Silver Medal at the recent U20 Northern Athletics Indoor Championships in Sheffield. Hayden also shattered the previous record of 8.10m in the Shot Put that had stood for over 26 years, with an improved distance of 12.65m. Congratulations Hayden.
Jasyn Savage had a successful trip to Sheffield, (not once but twice!!), in the Run, Jump, Throw and Masters events. Jasyn claimed previously unclaimed Indoor records for both the Shot and the Pole Vault in the V45 category. In fact, having set an initial record in the Shot in December 2023, Jasyn then returned in February 2024 and improved this further with a throw of 10.39m!
INDOOR (TRACK)
Jasyn continued his field success on the track and claimed not one, not two, but three Indoor track records in the V45 category at events in Manchester and Sheffield!
