Macclesfield Harriers fielded their largest team since before Covid during the Indoor Sports Hall rounds, with many of the youngest junior athletes competing for the first time in this type of competition. The U11 Boys made it to the regional finals in January, placing in joint 3rd overall, which is absolutely fantastic! The U13 Girls team also placed very well, finishing 4th in the league.
Following their performance in the league rounds, we were delighted to discover that 8 club athletes from the U11s and U13s were selected to represent Cheshire in the inter-county regional finals, held at Leigh Sports Village. What a honour!
Well done to all the Junior Club Members who took part across the different competitions in the series. You really are a credit to yourselves and the club.
