Thanks everyone for coming along tonight ! We had 110 finishers – about 40 more than last year I think- on a great evening for running.
Two new winners – Faye and Simon, and lots of people put in some excellent times.
Special thanks to all the many helpers, marshals, sweepers, timekeepers and not forgetting all the cake bakers and folk who helped out in the kitchen: quite a few of whom actually ran the race or did much more than their fair share, it’s very much appreciated.
We’ve raised about £750 from race entries which will go to Staffs Wildlife Trust and which will be used to improve Gun Hill and the surrounding area, and £250 from cake sales (thanks again for baking and for buying: they nearly all went !) which will go to DougieMac Hospice.

Finally, I’ve put a photo Mick Hall took last night from the top of Gun Hill (Mick Hall Photos: thanks Mick for this and all the pics over the years !) which I think shows it off well (though everyone was back before it got this dark.)
