Our 2025 Road Running Championship kicked off with the hilly Four Villages Half Marathon. Passing through the villages of Helsby, Dunham-on-the-Hill, Manley, and Mouldsworth, runners climb for the first 10 miles before being treated to a quick downhill 3-mile finish.
26 Macclesfield Harriers took part on this dry but cold morning. 5 of our members completed the course in less than 80 minutes. Jordan Cooper was the first Harrier across the finish line in a lightning-quick time of 1:16:01. He was followed by Rob Whitby in 1:17:22, and Mark Walker in 01:18:19.
Our fastest lady was Sue Stockdale in a time of 01:42:51. She was followed by Elsa West in 01:48:34, and Emma Galleymore in 01:50:30.
