The Club AGM and Awards will be held on Friday 27th March 2026 at Macclesfield Rugby Club at 7.00pm.
Once club formalities are out of the way, the main event is dishing out the prizes from the previous year across each of the club’s disciplines and their various championships. In 2024 there was a 70-year age difference between the youngest and oldest recipient of a prize, so it’s a great opportunity to see what other parts of the club get up to!
Each year we celebrate the successes of club members with a series of ‘Special Awards‘, which are presented at the Awards Presentation after the AGM. This is your chance to say ‘well done to fellow club members for all their hard work and outstanding achievements.
There are 10 categories and you can add your votes in all categories. These awards are not necessarily for the fastest or ‘best’ athletes but are there to recognise the effort and success that athletes have enjoyed and contribution they have made – please get your votes in to mark their success!
Please take the time to make these nominations, as we rely on these in order to recognise people’s achievements on awards night

There are a number of ‘Special Awards’ – you will need to fill in the SPECIAL AWARD NOMINATION FORM form for each nomination.

– Best newcomer (new to the club in 2025)
– Most improved athlete
– Most promising athlete
– Commendation (male)
– Commendation (female)
– Male endurance
– Female endurance
– Notable individual performance
– Contribution to the club
– Team of the year (a team that entered a recognised competition representing the club)
