There were 13 Macc Harriers who competed against other clubs in the next Cheshire Grand Prix race, the Birchwood 10K. Two of our runners, Rob Whitby and Rob Hasler, were also running for Cheshire in an inter-county competition. Some great times were had by all even though the course had lots of turns and it was quite humid. Some notable performances were from Harry Newton who claimed first place in the VM 80 category and a bottle of wine for being the oldest racer. Kirsty Gill claimed first place in the VW45 category. The ladies claimed an impressive 2nd place in the team standings (Kristy Gill, Sue Stockdale, Deanne Tomkins) while the men claimed 3rd place (Rob Whitby, Robert Hasler, Ciaran Wright , Owain Morris). Times for all the Macc Harriers are below with a link to the full results. Great running everyone!
