Macclesfield Harriers & A.C. will be taking part in the 25th North West Counties Road Relays in Birkenhead Park on Sunday, September 14th. This event is open to all interested members and is a great way to represent the club. The club will pay the cost of entry for all first-claim members.
Each team consists of three members except for the senior men who field teams of four. There are competitions for all age categories from U11s through to senior men and women, with the youngest athletes running 1.5km each while senior men and women and U17 boys will run 4.7km each. Last year we fielded a senior men’s team, a senior women’s team, and an U15 team which came second. There is no limit on the number of teams which we can enter, so please put your name forward if you are interested. It’d be great to have a big club turnout!
