POLLY LANDER ORIENTEERING TROPHY (PLOT)
This year`s PLOT is Wednesday July 3rd 2024 – this event is for Club Members Only.
This replaces the usual Wednesday night fell running format. If you’ve not done a navigation run before this is a great opportunity to increase your experience in familiar territory and have a bit of fun along the way. The idea is to visit as many controls as you can along the way, but you lose points if you arrive back late (it is not unusual for someone to lose all points)!
Venue is Pym Chair car park
Start 6.45 – (not 7pm!)
Duration 90 minutes
Navigation is straightforward, but route choice important if you want to win.
Back to proper orienteering controls this year (2024) so need for pencils etc.
Suitable for all abilities, solo or pairs including juniors if accompanied.
Prizes in Robin Hood, Rainow afterwards.
Note: Dogs only if on leads please.
