2025 Road Running Club Championship Results

Posted on 28/12/2025

2025 was a fantastic year of races in which our members competed in races throughout Cheshire and beyond. This included the 18 races of the 2025 Road Race Club Championship and the 8 races of the Cheshire Road Grand Prix. For the first time, marathon results also counted towards standings in the Road Running Club Championship!

81 men and 57 women competed in at least one event in the 2025 Road Running Club Championship. The most popular event of the year was the Wilmslow Running Festival in which a total of 47 Macclesfield Harriers completed either the half marathon or the 10k. A full summary of the year’s race results is accessible here.

2025 Cheshire Road Grand Prix

46 men and 25 women took part in at least one of the 8 Cheshire Grand Prix events. This fantastic team effort ensured that both the men’s and the women’s teams were crowned as Cheshire Road Grand Prix champions in 2025!

Furthermore, Macclesfield Harriers completed a clean sweep of the ladies’ podium positions in the ladies’ competition. Faye Sharpley was crowned champion while Kristy Readman and Sue Stockdale finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

In the men’s competition, Graeme Eddie finished in 2nd place with a further four Harriers making up the top ten!
