2025 Club Fell Champs Results

Congratulations to the following who have won our various race champs in 2025. Special mention to Rachel who has come back in style this year and taken a clean sweep across all three race series and Steve Lomas who takes a top 3 in each case.

Trophies and medals to be presented at the AGM in March when we will also announce the winners of the special awards – endurance prizes etc (nominations open mid-Jan). Club enthusiast award (most races in 2025) and winner of the Ken Hall Trophy (best performance across the race series’) will also be announced at the AGM.

2026 Club Champs Races

Time to plan the next year of challenges! A few things to note. Several of the early races are imminent and likely to sell out soon. Grasmere Gallop is the marathon race, with a challenging profile, but fully marked course challenging. Turner Landscape is a fantastic Lakeland race and if you were on the Blue outing at the fell weekend last March, you have reccied most of the course – definitely worth the effort to get there. The next club weekend away is proposed to coincide with a Lakeland race in September.

The scoring system gives 60 points to first male and female back, 57 to 2^nd place and 55 for 3^rd. Remaining places get progressively 1 point less. Three best races to count (4 in Summer series), so sometimes it pays to enter less popular races!
