SUMMARY:2024 Shining Tor - Summer Evening Series
DESCRIPTION:Shining Tor is a well established race. Taking you from the Errwood reservoir past the ruins of Errwood Hall\, up to the summit of Shining Tor and along the ridge to Pym’s chair\, giving you fantastic views of the Cheshire plain (weather permitting). \nI reckon we have the best registration venue in the Errwood sailing club\, of any fell race\, but I might be biased. \nAs has happened in recent years\, Buxton Mountain rescue team will marshal the course\, which I think makes it the best marshalled. But I am biased. \nLast year the profit of £1200 was donated to Mountain rescue  so they can keep on helping those who get into trouble on the hills surrounding the Goyt Valley. They are all volunteers but need cash to maintain equipment and resources\, so look on your entry fee as an insurance premium that you hope to never call on. \nNothing has changed\, start time is 7.30. though after last year we are saying that there will be a time limit of 90 minutes to complete the course. SUMMARY:2024 Cheshire Track and Field Championships
DESCRIPTION:The Cheshire T&F Championships will will be held over the weekend of 11th & 12th May at Macclesfield Track. \nThe event is open to all abilities across U11 to Senior age groups.
