DESCRIPTION:Wasdale Fell Race \nAL 34km/21.1mi\, 2750m/9022ft. \nThe Wasdale Fell Race is organised by Cumberland Fell Runners Association and is also part of the Lakeland Classics Trophy (details at lakelandclassicstrophy.org.uk). \nFee includes light refreshment\, use of the SPORTident race management / results system. \nAll Si-Cards are provided and pre logged onto the system\, no personal SI-Cards will be used. \nStart: 11:00 \n£15 pre-entry from early Feb via SI Entries \nParking\, Registration\, Start / Finish: located at the field east of National Trust campsite perimeter\, Wasdale GR 184 075. Post code for travel to Wasdale Campsite\, Wasdale Head\, Cumbria\, CA20 1EX. Please car share if at all possible to avoid valley road congestion and DO NOT PARK IN THE CAMPSITE IF YOU ARE NOT CAMPING. \nChanging: None – use cars. Toilets in the NT car park and with showers available on the NT camp site\, but there is charge for their use which MUST be paid by those using them. DO NOT USE THE SURROUNDS AS A TOILET.

DESCRIPTION:Bamford Carnival Fell Race\nWednesday 17th July 2024\, Race starts at 7.30pm.  7.2km\, 320m ascent. \nMinimum age 16 on the day of the race. \nOnline entry via SI Entries  \n£7 FRA members\, £8 non members.  Limited entries on the night £10. \nStart and finish Bamford Recreation Ground\, Grid Ref. 206829. \nFree car parking on the Recreation Ground\, S33 0DA\, off Station Road. \nThe race is licensed by the FRA under UKA Rules.  Category B\, Short. \nThe well marked route goes from Bamford Recreation Ground to the top of Win Hill and back.  Mostly on footpaths with a road section at the beginning and plenty of marshals make this event suitable for novice fell runners and experienced racers.
