"Tick" alert

Just a warning that there are 'ticks' about in the long grass around the trail and football pitches at the moment. So, long socks may be a good idea for training and always have a good look at your legs after the session to make sure you have not been bitten. If you have got a 'tick bite' it is a good idea to seek medical advice (pharmacy or doctor).

The Cheshire T&F Championships are being held at Macclesfield Athletics Track on 14/15 May, remember to get your entries in NOW.  Entry forms are on and must be in by 29th April 2016.  This is a great local opportunity for all MHAC from U13 upwards (including seniors) to record some early season times / distances.

There are also still some spaces left on the final coaching clinic to brush up / learn the basics of hurdles, pole vault, discus and long jump this Saturday 30th April 10.00-12.00 (forms on website link).

Mini T&F event (16th April) - results

After the mixed ability relay in the morning the club held a 'mini' T&F event in the afternoon. There was a good turn out of athletes  including a number who had also taken part in the relays in the morning. Lots of people tried out events for the first time and a number of new club records were set across the age groups.
Well done and many thanks to all who participated and those involved in organising the event.

The results are now available - Mini Event Results
