Cheshire League Track and Field under 11s

Sunday 28th May saw the first of this years Cheshire League Track and Field meeting for the under 11s at Deeside. It didn't rain! It was a sunny but windy day with some good results from the girls and boys. It was great to see some new competitors and their families getting involved. Events were 75m, 600m, long jump, soft javelin and 4 x 100m relay.

Girls team; Grace Hatton, Marissa Williams,Laura Venables, Georgia Burgess, Zoe Potts and Amy Needham.
Boys team; Aiden Westaway, Sean Mortin, Evan Hilton, Daniel Gayne and Mark Ainley.

All the athletes performed well in their events and showed great sportsmanship despite it being the first taste of competition for many. Some great results show future promise for those involved.
Thanks to the parents for their support.
