Mini T&F event (16th April) - results

After the mixed ability relay in the morning the club held a 'mini' T&F event in the afternoon. There was a good turn out of athletes  including a number who had also taken part in the relays in the morning. Lots of people tried out events for the first time and a number of new club records were set across the age groups.
Well done and many thanks to all who participated and those involved in organising the event.

The results are now available - Mini Event Results

Mixed Ability Relay - Photos

A great morning at the track for the Mixed Ability Relay event. 40 runners joined in, making 8 teams. There was some brilliant running, with some people running on the track for the first time. Lots of encouragement from team members helped to get people round when they were feeling tired.

Afterwards there was tea and cakes in the clubhouse with profits going to Rossendale Trust. Prizes were presented to the winning team (Team 2). Louise Brown organised a raffle to raise money for Rossendale Trust. The cakes and raffle raised ÂŁ258.00.

Thanks to everyone who helped, to the runners and to the supporters. Well done everyone!
