Monday Night Runs - Teggs Nose

Yes it is that time of year again. We can finally get off road and give those knees a rest. This Monday (27th March) we will be meeting at Teggs Nose car park at the usual time of 6:30pm.

It's important that runners who have worked hard through the winter months still have an opportunity to maintain their level of fitness, so I would really like to encourage any B or C runners that would like to start running from Teggs Nose to give it a try. If necessary we can split the group to allow for all abilities.

Hope to see you there.

Regards

Jon Falkner

Wilmslow Half Marathon

The weather was perfect for running, cool and dry with not much wind.
Many runners (including myself and Martin Platt) were using the race as
part of their training for the London Marathon next month. Notable
performances from Andy Lamont (11th) and Martin Platt (4th Mv50) and a
rare appearance off the hills for Mark McDermott! Macclesfield men were
6th team and the Macclesfield Ladies were 4th overall.

See Joelee website for the results.
