Forest 5 is on ... 19th July 2017

A vote of thanks is due to Emma Beveridge and Shaun Wilde for their prompt response to volunteering to organise this year’s race. So put July 19th in your diary.

A bit like London Buses you get 2 volunteers and then a 3rd in quick succession; Neil Pettie also offered to organise the race. Thanks Neil.

The club relies on individuals to do their bit, however small, to make it function for all. Good to have a pool of helpers.

Emma and Shaun will be looking for help with Marshals on the day (and runners)

Forest 5 - 19th July (Hopefully) HELP!!!

After what seems “forever” Pete Nolan has decided to spend more time with his grandkids and is standing down as organiser of this race.

We’d hope to keep this popular club race, which attracts fell and road runners (and generates a good donation to local charity), on the calendar so we are hoping someone can step into the breach.

Pete is happy to work with whomever to make a smooth and seamless handover. He has got digital documentation of what’s required and can list all the things that need doing and contact information.

If you are able to take on the role of race organiser but have concerns that you haven’t  done so before be assured you will receive a lot of support .
