Christmas eve run in Lyme Park

There will be a run on Sunday 24th Dec, from outside the Boars Head pub, Higher Poynton. 10am start for a run of between 90 minutes and 2 hours, with plenty of options for shortcuts if wanted.

All welcome, after we will retreat to either the pub or the cafe next door, but feel free to bring some festive mince pies as well if you want!

Parking available in the visitor centre car park, but this may be pay and display so you might choose to park on the road instead, try not to fill up the pub car park though.

See you there !

Club Fell Handicap 2017

The annual club fell handicap will be held on Sunday 10th December, from the St Dunstans. Start times from 9am.

All details the same as previous years. Full kit will of course be required.

Ask Phil if you need any more info or if you've not run before.

Please let Phil Cheek ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) know if you plan to run, and if possible provide him with either your 'form' and/or a bottle of red, so that a start time can be allocated.

A map of the course is below, run anticlock, Forest / Shutlingsloe first.

Club Fell Handicap - Sunday 18th Feb 2018

Message from Phil Cheek (Handicap Organiser)

The Fell Handicap has been rearranged for Sunday 18th February 2018. It has been tricky to find a new date that did not clash with other Club events that the pub could accommodate. For anybody that cannot make the new date I apologise.

Please can you let Phil Cheek know if you plan to run on the new date so that the start times can be sorted out (see below). All other arrangements remain the same (St Dunstan's for registration and post run food, £6 entry, Sweetie tree etc).

hope to see you there!

British fell relays - results

Well done to the 4 teams that represented Macc in Llanberis at British fell relays yesterday. There were strong performances across all the teams on a challenging, very muddy course. Special mention to the ladies V40 team who finished 4th in their age category!
