Leek XC, North Staffs League, 13th Dec

The fourth and last of the North Staffs League events is this Saturday at Westwood School Leek.

The  best of the 4 venues ! (possibly the hardest too, it's not entirely flat....)

More info here http://www.nsccl.co.uk/

Several of our individual, and at least two of our teams are looking well set to win something, so we need your support !!

Contact your coach (juniors) or James Noakes / Daisy Pickles (seniors) if you can run and want to lift share.

North Staffs XC League

Well done to everyone who ran on Saturday, on the 'not quite flat' Westwood Park course.

In the series results, congratulations to the U13 Girls, who thanks to a huge and very speedy turnout at most of the races (seven in the first 17 at Leek !) won the team competition by a very large margin ! and the Senior Ladies who came second in the second division and are now promoted to the first !.

In the individual competition, Sian Heslop won the U13 Girls, with Stephanie Moss in 3rd place, and for the Ladies Liz Smith was 2nd V45 and Jo Miles 2nd V50.

But congratulations to everyone from the club who managed to complete the four race series !

North Staffs XC Race 3, Park Hall

Some fine runs by all who turned out for the club, and we have some individuals and teams well up the standings !

In particular, with one round left at Westwood Leek (the best course of the lot !) the U13 Girls look well set to win the series, and the Senior and Veteran Ladies are also very well placed (the first time we've had a team for many years !).

So thanks to all who've run so far, and we need a good turnout at Leek on Sat 13th December !! It's all free, you just turn up and run.
